Supervisor Burke Issues Call for 2ND District
City Park-Related Projects Seeking Funding
Park Projects are eligible for funding up to $500,000

LOS ANGELES COUNTY - Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke issued a “Call-for-projects” wish list of potential Proposition A compliant city park-related projects in the Second District to be awarded a limited amount of accumulated funding in the specific “Cities” category under the County of L.A.’s 1992 and 1996 park bonds.

Each submission should include a brief description of the project, its estimated costs, contain multiple projects, listed in order of their priority and desirability, and not exceed a cumulative total of $500,000. Projects with matching funding will be given greater evaluative consideration.

Deadline to submit list of park projects is by 5 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Interested parties should address their submissions list to: The Office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne B.
